Umber Canada updates pricing and product and service assortments on a regular basis as a result of a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, market and competitive forces, and reserves the right to change Customer’s pricing and product assortment at any time without notice. If you are an Umber Canada account holder, please log into your account to obtain your up-to-date prices. We reserve the right to limit sales, including the right to prohibit sales to re-sellers. While we make every effort to provide accurate information, inaccuracies or errors may occur. We are not responsible for such errors. We reserve the right to make changes, corrections, and/or improvements to the information contained on this Site and to the products and programs described in such information, at any time without notice.
There may be certain orders that we are either unable to accept or must cancel. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including those made to resellers. Possible circumstances involving our canceling an order may be limitations on quantities available for purchase or inaccuracies or errors in product or pricing information.
Taxes
All prices quoted exclude sales tax. Federal, Provincial and Harmonized sales tax will be added to purchases where applicable, based on the “Ship to” province.

Payment Terms and Leasing Options
If you are a registered business customer, not paying by credit card, the following options are available. Payment terms are ‘NET’ 30 days from date of invoice. Invoices unpaid by the due date are subject to a late payment charge and may also result in delayed delivery of subsequent orders. If you do not have an Umber Canada account, a major credit card (VISA, American Express, or MasterCard) can be used for the order. Payment terms are subject to change without notice.
Product Changes, Substitutions and Errors
All descriptions and illustrations are based on the best information available at the time of publication. Although every effort has been made to ensure accuracy, prices and specifications are subject to errors and we are not responsible for errors. Colours are approximate and may differ from those shown. Unless indicated, contents are not included with merchandise displayed. Manufacturer’s specifications may change or products may be discontinued without notice. Should an item become unavailable, we reserve the right to replace the item with a comparable substitution of equal or greater value at the time of your order placement.
Return Policy
Returns will not be accepted on any personal protective equipment, facial tissue, toilet paper, paper towels and associated dispensers until further notice.
Returnable items may be returned in their complete and original unopened packaging, including all manuals and accessories, subject to the following “Product Return Conditions”:

Products must be returned with a Return Authorization Number. Please Contact Umber Canada’s Account Manager to obtain an authorization number in advance for the product being returned.
Office supplies – Unopened, unused items may be exchanged or returned for a full refund within 15 days of receipt.
Technology And Consumer Electronic Products – Unopened, unused items may be exchanged or returned for a full refund within 15 days of receipt.
Defective/Damaged Technology items may be EXCHANGED ONLY within 15 days of receipt. Returned Items must be complete and include all components in their original packaging. After 15 days, please contact manufacturer directly.
Furniture – Unopened, unused items may be exchanged or returned for a full refund within 15 days of receipt.

Furniture Installation fees are non-refundable
Special-ordered, non-stock merchandise, including custom print, custom signs, proprietary products, furniture items with extended delivery, and clearance items are non-cancelable and non-returnable
Consumable Food items are non-returnable
Chemicals and cleaning products are non-returnable.
Delivery Fees are non-refundable.
Damaged Goods and Shortages
In case of damage or shortage in shipments, note the discrepancy on the bill of lading/packing slip before signing for receipt of the order and notify Umber Canada immediately with a copy of the bill of lading/packing slip. Notification must be reported within 30 days of shipment. Where there is concealed damage, retain the packaging for inspection. For shipments delivered by a courier or freight company, report the claim to the carrier and obtain an inspection report. Notify Umber Canada and we will cooperate to help you secure a satisfactory adjustment.
Shipping Fees
Orders of $100 or more to be delivered within our local trading areas will be shipped for free. Minimum purchase required is before taxes and after discounts and price matches. Some exclusions apply. See below for details.
Orders less than $100 (before taxes, after coupons and price matches) are subject to a minimum order handling fee of $9.95.
Furniture orders of $200 or more (excluding insulated files and safes) to be delivered within our local trading areas will be shipped for free. Minimum purchase required is before taxes and after discounts and price matches.
Orders placed outside of our local trading areas may be subject to a shipping fee based on the weight and delivery distance of the order.
Due to the weight involved, insulated files and safes may be subject to a shipping fee. A shipping fee may apply to unique locations that require additional resources or equipment to complete the delivery. These items may only be ordered by contacting your Account Manager or customer service for details.
All shipping fees will be noted in the cart at checkout or advised at time of order placement.
Expected Delivery Times
We try to ship most products within 1 to 2 business days to locations within 50km of Edmonton zones. If your order originates outside of Edmonton zone, it may take 3 to 5 business days. Products that are backordered, out-of-stock or drop-shipped from third party vendors may have extended delivery times. When you add an item to your shopping cart, you may receive one of the following messages that will help you estimate your delivery date:
Deliveries occur between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM local time. Customers will be asked to confirm and sign for the delivery.
When we receive your order, we will send an email confirmation and expected delivery date. Umber Canada is unable to deliver to Post Office Boxes
If any delivery is prevented or delayed by any act or condition beyond our reasonable control, Umber Canada shall make all reasonable efforts to notify the customer of such condition and ensure delivery is made as soon as possible.
We observe many federal and provincial holidays across Canada. If you are in an area that is observing a holiday and are unsure of your delivery date, please contact us at customercare@umbercanada.ca
Installation and Assembly Charges
An installation and assembly charge may apply on furniture installations. On items for which assembly is requested, an assembly charge will apply. Please contact with one of our Customer Service Representatives at customercare@umbercanada.ca
Waste Diversion Fees
A Waste Diversion Fee, such as an ECO fee, Electronics Handling Fee, Deposit Fee, or other similar Recycling Fee may apply to new purchases of designated items in the regulated waste diversion programs of participating provinces. These programs require manufacturers to pay recycling fees, which are then transferred to the customer. All fees collected for remittance to a regulated waste diversion program are sent by Umber Canada to the respective non-profit provincial stewardship agency, explicitly for the safe recovery, recycling and/or disposal of an item’s components.
